What is Spinal Energetics?

Spinal Energetics is an energetic healing modality that encourages the release of trauma, stuck & stored survival stress that may be keeping you from living your most authentic life possible.

'Doing the deep work, which is where the magic truly happens. 

Clients often report a ‘soothing out’ of their nervous system, a sense of calm and freedom within the mind and body. Others feel a sense of wholeness, a homecoming to themselves. 

As a Level 2 practitioner I am here to support you through your journey to real and lasting change. '

Spinal Energetics is a modality developed by Chiropractor and Counsellor Dr Sarah Jane Perri. It is a practice that combines Eastern and Western philosophies, to interact with a person’s spine, nervous system and energetic field, to harness a person’s own innate wisdom to know and heal themselves.

What can Spinal Energetics assist you with?

The nervous system plays a vital role in how we respond to stress and maintain overall health & wellbeing. Spinal supports nervous system regulation by creating a safe space for the body to unwind and release held trauma and tension patterns. Alignment of the spine facilitates smooth transitions between sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) states, reducing the impact of unnecessary stress and promoting healthy regulation.

This balance results in improved stress management, better sleep quality, and an enhanced sense of overall well-being.

Spinal Energetics can contribute to overall physical health. Our bodies hold the stories of our lives, and this is where imbalances occur causing physical ailments to present themselves. With Spinal Energetics we seek to understand what the body is trying to tell us through the tension it’s storing in each centre of your body.

We then we seek to shift it.

Emotional regulation is crucial for overall well-being. Spinal Energetics addresses this by promoting balance and harmony within the body’s energy system. When the spine is aligned and energy flows freely, it supports emotional stability and resilience.

Emotional blockages often manifest physically, creating tension, discomfort and sometimes disease. By addressing these blockages, Spinal Energetics helps release stored emotions, leading to a more balanced emotional state, alleviated stress, reduced anxiety, and enhanced emotional clarity.

Through light yet powerful touch (and often no touch) and breathwork, an organic flow of movement and sound begins and progresses to shift, unwind, discover and release tension, resistance, and stories that may have been stored in the body. The movements and sounds are natural and primordial, they are a response to the treatment and are driven by an individual's energy, intuition and instinct. 

The wonderful advantage of Spinal Energetics is, it is a healing release that does not require you to relive past trauma.

Each living being is not just a physical form but also a being of energy. Energy encompasses each of our aspects; physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and soul: Woven together with our ancestry, experiences, stories, personality, and character.

As a Spinal Energetics practitioner, I intend to support you in a safe and sacred space. As I guide you on your own healing journey whatever that may look I intend for you to meet a middle path of homeostasis; balance, as this wellbeing is each person’s birthright.

(Please note that Spinal Energetics is a stand alone session to my massage therapy sessions and I would recommend booking them on separate days unless you have had multiple Spinal Energetics sessions)

Please check the list of conditions which are not suitable for treatment?

For your own safety and wellbeing, it is important that you are completely honest about your mental and physical state.

* First or Third Trimester of Pregnancy

* Under the age of 12

* Over the age of 75

* Recent physical injuries; fractures and/or surgeries

* Epilepsy

* Severe Asthma

* History or diagnosis of aneurysms

* Currently or most recently taken HEAVY medication that alters brain chemistry (e.g.   STRONG anti-depressants, anxiety, antipsychotics medications) Please note that taking some of these medications does not rule you out from receiving Spinal Energetics as it is dependent on dosage and how long you have been on this type of medication. * Cardiovascular conditions

* Heart disease

* Heart conditions

* History of seizures

* Prior diagnosis of schizophrenia; bipolar; psychosis or other

Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition; emotional crisis or spiritual emergence within the past 3 years

* Any other medical; psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release
